Dusting off my .htaccess skills
me.com gives me my calendar everywhere. If only it were as free as Google Calendar…
Trying out MobileMe. Well-designed product.
got me some real shoes (that support rather than wear down my feet) the other day. Walking feels like flying now.
Web designer’s frustration is directly related to amount of Flash used in a project.
complex medical terms do not make easily scannable menu items
the amount of packaging needed for the Nintendo Wii and all its accesories is amazing.
I hate receiving ‘small design changes’ after coding all the templates.
code quality is inversely related to urgency. This is the root of all programming evil.
With every site I build I end up creating a menu highlighting system in PHP. Time for a template.
off to work. I hate morning commute.
There’s nothing like the Beach Boys to start a potentially long and tiring day.
Evangelising Panic’s Coda.
TextMate persistent includes work quite well. I only miss an ‘update all’ command.
Receiving the content after finishing the design makes me feel uneasy.
If it weren’t for TextMate (or in this case, E text editor) I would now be tearing my hair out.
Firing up Kruder & Dorfmeister in a desperate attempt to get productive.
I really need my bicycle back so bus drivers can no longer mess up my morning commute.
Looking at buying a Wii and connecting it to my iMac with a TV tuner. Expensive, but damn do I want a Wii…
Wanted to buy a Wii earlier. Then I realised I don’t have a TV to connect it to.
Of course, Airport Express works with all printers except mine. Not buying.
I’ll have you know that translating websites into German is not as much fun as it sounds.
I really need more hours in a day, because I don’t really want to get up earlier.
The new Flickr member home page is nice, but they could’ve done better. Love the little graph.

I cannot for the life of me find good cash flow/budgeting software.
had a useless lecture this morning. Very frustrating.
Investigating easy-to-use time tracking applications.
Very annoying that starting Genius will re-start your currently playing song. Is that really necessary?
I like the iTunes 8 Genius feature. Grid-style browser is fine, but I don’t think I’ll use it much. Love setting the content type of files.
I suddenly realised that 2 day working, 2 days girlfriend and 3 days of more-than-average studying means I can’t afford a lay-in anymore.
Just updated my Delicious Library (http://ping.fm/y8WUN)
Staction looks useful. I got some invites left. Anyone interested?
No need to read the slides out loud, I can read.
First lecture in months. Mixed emotions.
WebCT Vista is hopeless courseware. Rather than replacing it with something sensible, Utrecht University has just upgraded to a new version.
What’s great at working from home is that you don’t have to wait for somebody to open the office for you.
Working from home today alleviates some of the pain of my sore throat and inability to speak.
Up at 5:50 today. Inhuman.
Actually using LinkedIn for the first time, like, ever.
Amazon seems to do shipping tracking now. Nice.
Generating PDFs in PHP makes me long for Ruby’s blocks.
I dislike Flash because I simply don’t understant it. It is almost impossible to debug somebody else’s Flash movies.
Of course, things are never that easy in Internet Explorer. Silly me.
Funny how impossible obstacles turn into minor inconveniences after a good night’s sleep.
No matter how well-designed your interface is, some people will never get it.
Saw a girl punching her iPhone trying to delete a message. She never came close to the delete button.
I love buying books, especially about military history and Mediterranean cooking.
jQuery flash plugin text replacement seems much simpler and better than sIFR3.
I am yet to find a good use for OS X Smart Folders.
